Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nursing position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring stability and safety during the postoperative period. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; current registered nurse license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; procedural sedation competency; minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the post-anesthesia, intensive care, or emergency room setting; minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients in ER, ICU, or PACU environments; minimum two (2) years of experience providing procedural sedation in outpatient settings; experience in pain management injection procedures
• Additional Information: Suitable candidates should be proficient in assessing postoperative patients, managing pain, and implementing care plans. Certification in ACLS is required for this position.
