Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nursing position located at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a high-volume, acute care setting. The assignment features night shift hours, with a focus on delivering quality care standards relevant to neonatal intensive care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; active nursing license; at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Additional Information: Unit notes indicate a high census setting with a 35-bed NICU handling 48 infants, including recent COVID-19 vaccination requirements. The environment is high acuity with a focus on neonatal patient care, utilizing the EPIC charting system. Unit operates in an acute division with a Level 3 trauma designation.
