Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an acute care setting, with a focus on patient care for post-Cath Lab and medical-surgical patients. The assignment involves working nights in a facility with a 21-bed unit, mandatory floating to Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Units as needed, and every other weekend requirement. The role requires maintaining excellent patient outcomes while adhering to hospital protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education and experience requirements include a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in Progressive Care or Telemetry units, with prior experience caring for Post-Cath Lab patients. The candidate must hold an active license to submit application.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records, specifically EPIC, and prior floating to ICU for patient status assessments.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be scheduled for every other weekend, with an expectation to float to Medical Surgical and ICU units based on patient needs. Up to two extra mandatory shifts may be required per six weeks. The unit maintains ratios of 1:4, and the patient care focuses on acute and post-procedure recovery.
