Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position located in the area for a healthcare provider. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, with a focus on acute medical situations. The position requires a commitment to patient safety, efficient care delivery, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification completed prior to start, and at least 1 year of emergency department experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 90 days of start date.
Patient Care Responsibilities: Managing a patient ratio of approximately 4:1, providing comprehensive emergency care across a variety of critical situations.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum weekly hours of 36.
Additional Information: Must include the candidate's permanent home address on submissions. Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify. No floating requirements specified; RTO (Request Time Off) must be requested in the sub packet and discussed during the interview.
Submission Requirements: Travel submissions must include all necessary information and meet the specified criteria for acceptance.
