Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Circulate specialist for a temporary assignment in a community hospital located in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing circulating services within the operating room environment, supporting various surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The position is situated in a well-established facility that offers a range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neuro, robotics, and general surgery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified operating room circulating experience, with 2 years of relevant experience, valid credentials in circulating surgical services, and active licensure to practice as an RN.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries (e.g., XI DaVinci), orthopedic, neuro, or general surgery casework.
- Float: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting with an average of 10 to 25 surgical cases daily, including total joint replacements (knees, hips, shoulders), spine, neuro, robotics, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, and other general surgeries. The candidate will be supporting a surgical team in a collaborative environment with responsibilities that include prepping, organizing instruments, and coordinating care during operative procedures. Successful candidates must adhere to facility dress code, typically scrubs, and demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills.
