Description
Job Summary:
Wound Care Nurse, Wound Care Specialty, working in a healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care focused on wound management. The registered nurse utilizes evidence-based practices, advanced therapeutic interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 4-10 hour days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by a single state or compact licensing agreement; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association; valid RN license for the state of practice.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; additional wound care certifications such as CWOCN, CWON, or CWCN are preferred.
- Required Skills & Experience: Wound management, wound care expertise, patient care delivery, fundamentals of nursing, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation skills, professional etiquette, accountability, patient care coordination, communication, patient evaluation, critical thinking.
