Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position available in a general care setting. The role involves providing post-operative recovery care to patients, including assessment, monitoring, and managing pain and complications. The incumbent will practice independently, demonstrate clinical competence, and coordinate care to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shift times are during daytime hours.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in the relevant nursing specialty preferred; Critical Care, Preoperative, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system experience highly recommended. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. RN License in the state of Texas or a valid compact license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Perioperative Nursing Residency or recent practice in an operating room or perioperative setting.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, documenting medical history and care provided, and educating patients and family members as needed. This is a full-time role with an ASAP start date, offering the possibility of temp-to-perm placement and a 4x10 schedule accommodation.
