Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Step Down Unit to work nights. The candidate will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collaboration with the health care team to promote evidence-based practices within a healing environment is essential, along with demonstrating the organizations core values of Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associates or Bachelors Degree (preferred), BLS certification required, ACLS certification required, at least 1 year of intermediate care or step-down nursing experience, required skills include computer skills, patient assessment, intermediate care nursing, step-down nursing, and communication.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in a step-down setting. Team collaboration and effective communication are key responsibilities throughout the shift.
