Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a busy emergency department setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating respect, safety, and confidentiality while collaborating with staff and interacting with the emergency department patient population. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and the use of hospital equipment, including electronic medical records systems and medication dispensing systems.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association); minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience preferred, 0 years minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Additional Information:
  • Local radius restriction of 50 miles; candidates outside this radius encouraged to apply.
  • Call-off policy allows up to 24 hours' notice for cancellations per 13-week assignment.
  • Orientation includes 2-3 days of unit training plus hospital orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
  • Charting is performed using Cerner electronic medical records system.
  • Bed capacity is 22 beds in the emergency department, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
  • No floating required; emergency department staff always includes at least two RNs.
  • Dress code is own scrubs with no specific color requirements.
  • The unit operates in an acute care setting with trauma-level designation.
  • Minimal experience of 0 years required, with a focus on emergency nursing skills and certifications.
