Description
Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Nurse for a full-time daytime position within a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing routine and complex care in an endoscopy lab environment, with a focus on patient safety, education, and clinical support. The nurse will practice independently within their scope, supporting procedures and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty; BLS via AHA required; ACLS via AHA required; RN License in the state of employment or in a compact state
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in endoscopy or surgical services setting preferred
- Float: Float to other departments within Surgical Services required if needed
- Additional Information: The nurse will provide either routine or complex care in an environment that requires medication administration, patient education, and adherence to clinical protocols. On-call on weekends with two weekend shifts per month and one call night per week is required. The position involves working with electronic medical records (EPIC) and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.
