Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor registered nurse located in the region. This position involves working during night shifts, with floating to other medical surgical areas as needed. The role requires providing compassionate patient care for individuals with complex medical conditions, including stroke, cancer, and post-surgical recovery, among others. The nurse will manage a caseload of up to eight patients when necessary and participate in a team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, nursing degree, and licensure in good standing. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience on medical surgical oncology units and familiarity with common procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and EEG/Continuous Monitoring.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
Boone Health can downstaff travelers 36/48 hours in a 13-week contract based on their weekly schedule.
