Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (OH) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Erie, PA. This role involves providing specialized care for cardiac surgery patients in a hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for supporting the perioperative process, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and collaborating with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and ends on 12/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Operating Room (OR) with Open Heart (OH) specialty, with prior CV-OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience. Must be able to attend a phone interview.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the specific hospital's protocols and electronic medical record systems is preferred.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have CV-OR experience and be able to work a 10-hour day shift.
  • Call requirements include 7-10 calls per month, including weekends.
  • Vaccination against Flu and COVID-19 is required; medical or religious declinations are accepted.
  • Offers require a response within 48 hours of presentation; once an offer is accepted, no time off requests will be accommodated or changes made.
  • Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate.
