Description
Job Summary:
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (BMT) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care within an evidence-based framework, adhering to regulatory standards, standards of care, and hospital policies. The nurse will assess patient conditions, interpret clinical data, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid CA-RN (California Registered Nurse) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 0 years of experience, location in California, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in bone marrow transplant or hematology/oncology nursing is desirable.
- Additional Information: The RN will create a healing environment through compassionate patient engagement, administer care according to the patient's individual needs, and participate in continuous quality improvement. The role requires the ability to quickly respond to emergencies, educate patients and families, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 09/15/2026 and end on 03/15/2027.
