Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Specialist ? Days shift. This position involves providing specialized endoscopy procedures within an acute care setting, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure responsibilities. Candidates must possess the necessary skills to perform technical duties alongside nursing staff, with a focus on ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, NDNQI Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopy laboratory settings; valid license to submit; location requirements met.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing endoscopic ultrasounds and bronchoscopies is a plus but not mandatory.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes indicate accessibility to local placements.
  • Candidate must be comfortable handling all endoscopy-related skills, including pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure care.
  • The department includes nursing assistants but no technicians.
  • Experience with Epic charting system, vital signs, and cardiac monitor knowledge required.
  • Weekend call is voluntary and not required.
  • No self-scheduling; adherence to scheduled hours is expected.
  • No float requirements.
  • Unit/department specific orientation will be provided.
  • This role is traveler friendly with frequent extensions possible.
