Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Maine. This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a specialized nursing environment. The RN collaborates with residents and care team members to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment, working across units that serve residents with Alzheimers/dementia, short-term rehab, and long-term care needs.

Job Details

• Position Description: Candidates with licensure and background hits will not be considered. Local travelers will receive a $10/hour lower local rate. Previous employees are not accepted.
• Education: Associates in Nursing, valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
• Experience: 1-3 years previous RN experience.
• Skills Required: Medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work well within a care team; flexibility to cover shifts 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; flexibility to float to other units as needed. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Unpaid up to 16 hours of orientation. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius. The position urgency is normal.
