Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in an acute care facility. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy required; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required.
• Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan prescribing interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborates with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/families and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Additional Information: The start date is 10/12/2026, with an end date of 01/10/2027. EPIC experience is REQUIRED. September is a hard start date. Holiday RTO will not be approved.
