Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse with Telemetry specialization for a day shift position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing patient care in an acute medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring, requiring proficiency in interpretation of strip readings and medication administration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing; minimum of 2 years recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience; CPR, ACLS certifications; Epic experience required; recent experience in a similar setting is mandatory; location requirements are not specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: All RNs are required to read and interpret their own strips as this unit does not have telemetry technicians. RNs must pass ECG/telemetry testing and medications testing during onboarding; testing will be administered via Zoom, with an 85% passing score. Testing should be completed within 48 hours of confirmation, and there is no re-sit opportunity. Candidates are encouraged to review the provided study guide to prepare for tests. The assignment duration is 8 weeks, starting on 01/05/2027, with a maximum of three days off (RTO). No separation period is required from prior staffing assignments for submission to this opening.
