Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility setting in the Lower Keys. The role involves providing comprehensive obstetrical care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases, ensuring safe delivery and patient support. The position requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Lower Keys Travel RN Labor & Delivery (LDRP). Responsible for delivering nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of prior travel experience, Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent. Valid nursing license.
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift pattern.
- Additional Information: Flexibility to float to other units as needed. Must have reviewed housing options prior to acceptance and provide an address. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required; PALS certification can be obtained within 30 days if not already held. Willing to review candidates with pending state licenses.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
- Willingness to Float: Float rotation may be required.
