Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a Level 4 Trauma and stroke-ready facility located in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The role involves providing emergency care to a diverse patient population with conditions such as post-surgical complications, cerebrovascular accidents, sepsis, pneumonia, trauma, and more. The candidate will be responsible for managing airway protocols, cardiac drips, codes, and managing CVA and STEMI emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications; 18 months of emergency room experience; availability to work night shifts; valid licensure as an RN in the state of Wisconsin
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma or stroke care strongly preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratio: 1:4
  • Support staff includes 2 emergency department technicians from 11:00 PM to 11:00 PM, LPN from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and RT staff
  • Bed capacity includes 17 exam rooms and 4 observation units
  • Support on the unit includes hospitalists 24/7, OT, PT, and speech therapy services
  • Charting system utilizes Epic electronic medical record system; Alaris IV pumps; Pyxis for medication dispensing
  • Day VAT (Vascular Access Team) with US-guided IV trained RNs available during daytime shifts
  • No floating requirement
  • Orientation provided through New Employee Orientation (NEO)
  • Scrub color: Navy blue

  • The start date for the assignment is October 12, 2026, and the end date is January 9, 2027
  • First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience
