Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor nurse position located in a medical rehabilitation unit on a main campus. The role involves providing patient care for a diverse patient population on a 30-bed unit, with a focus on med/surg experience. This position offers a guaranteed 48 hours per week, with a start date of December 14, 2026, and an end date of March 15, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare professional certification, minimum of 0 years of experience in med/surg, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and ability to work on a medical surgical rehabilitation floor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: Unit specifics include a patient ratio of 1:5, availability of patient lifting equipment, gait belts, and patient alarms. Documentation is managed through Meditech. Staffing includes unit secretaries and technologists when census is 9 or higher. No on-call requirements, and floating policies prioritize agency floats first.
