Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Waycross, Georgia. This role involves supporting a 231-bed acute care facility through daily surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, orthopedic, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, ophthalmic, spine, bariatric, and endoscopic surgeries. The typical schedule is day shifts with on-call responsibilities, and the candidate will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday, 0645 to 1515 hours, with on-call assignments after normal business hours; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, one or more years of experience in an operating room environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, podiatry, OB/GYN, urology, ophthalmic, spine, bariatric, and endoscopic surgeries; familiarity with Stryker equipment and Meditech Expanse documentation system; certification in TNCC or ENPC is a plus.
• Additional Information: The role requires adherence to unit-specific policies and guidelines, including dress code of facility-laundered green scrubs.
