Description
Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Lab Specialist position is located in a healthcare facility providing specialized Gastroenterology services. This role involves supporting intra-procedural activities, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of endoscopic procedures. The position requires a proactive team member capable of working efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN degree for registered nurses or Certified Surgical Technology Program for surgical technologists; at least 3 years of experience; certifications including BLS and ACLS; ability to demonstrate intra-procedural technical skills and troubleshoot equipment; experience with procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy
- Preferred Qualifications: Intra-procedural level experience, Gastroenterology procedure experience, procedural tech experience
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to start within 10 days for rapid onboarding. Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, managing equipment, and supporting team members proactively.
