Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical, evidence-based patient care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, following regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The nurse will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with healthcare team members, and educate patients and families to promote recovery and prevent complications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university (preferred); effective communication skills in English; relevant clinical experience in intensive care is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an ICU setting; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); ability to respond quickly in emergency situations; demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare setting.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, intervening in emergency situations, monitoring for adverse responses, and contributing to team-based patient care. The role demands rapid decision-making, effective communication, and a commitment to lifelong learning in nursing practice.
