Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Trauma (ICU Trauma) registered nurses are needed at a busy short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients with trauma-related conditions, requiring experience in trauma, neurological, and resuscitation procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population, emphasizing safety, advanced procedures, and team collaboration.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date available from 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum experience specified; candidates should have certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and possess recent Epic charting system experience. A valid Washington state license or license application is required before start.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of ICU trauma experience, charge nurse experience, and familiarity with complex neurological assessments and advanced trauma procedures are preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation is required; travelers may float between CVICU, NTICU, and other units within scope, with orientation provided.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible regarding scheduling, available for orientations, and ready to manage patients with a wide range of trauma and critical care diagnoses such as GIB, sepsis, ARDS, CVA, ICH, and post-cardiac arrest. Experience with Traction and complex neurological management is a plus. This ICU is Level II Trauma with a high patient acuity, requiring proficient handling of advanced life support technologies and invasive procedures.
