Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular RN Nights 36 Hours per week. Located in a healthcare facility, this position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. The role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to established protocols, and the ability to work within a dynamic team environment. The contract is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and conclude on 01/11/2027.
Job Details
- Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (19:00-07:30), minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for Maryland or a valid Compact State license, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, with at least 2 years of experience in ICU or CVICU.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiovascular intensive care setting, familiarity with the Epic charting system, and prior community hospital or LTAC experience are preferred.
- Float: Float within the scope to lower acuity units and other areas as needed.
- Additional Information: This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, arrhythmias, MI, pulmonary hypertension, advanced therapy workups such as LVAD and heart transplants, and mechanical support devices like IABP and Impella. Responsibilities include bedside invasive procedures, use of specialized equipment such as Impella, VAD, CRRT, ventilators, cooling devices, and patient monitoring systems.
