Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) nursing opportunity in a highly active healthcare setting. The assignment involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage a variety of diagnoses within an MS/Tele specialty setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Nights (19:00-07:30), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland or Compact state nursing license, BLS, CPI, NIHSS; 2 years of experience preferred, or at least 1 year in similar settings, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, working in a fast-paced MS/Tele environment, and managing adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the MS/Tele specialty, including to related units during staffing needs
• Additional Information: This position involves caring for a patient census of approximately 15, with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Certification in CPI is required; other certifications such as ACLS and NIHSS are preferred. Onboarding includes lab testing within 72 hours of contract signing, with a compliance deadline of five days prior to start date.
