Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights 36 hours weekly. This position is based in a healthcare facility and involves providing specialized post-anesthesia patient care during the night shift. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment, supporting a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with strong ICU or critical care background preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, airway management, arterial line care, and post-anesthesia recovery procedures. Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Floats: Float may be required within the specialty, including to sister hospitals, to accommodate staffing needs.
• Holidays and Weekend Requirements: Only Fridays and Sundays are required; no Saturdays. Holidays may be scheduled as needed.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 40 hours of training. Candidates must be comfortable managing patients in a busy PACU setting, utilizing a broad skill set to ensure safe recovery and discharge. Onboarding and compliance documents are due five days prior to start date.
