Description

Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Alaska. This role involves providing professional nursing care across a broad patient population, including those with acute, chronic, and post-operative conditions. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered services, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week, including day, night, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse license in Alaska, associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Geriatric and dementia care experience.
  • Additional Information: The facility does not provide housing or transportation; travelers are responsible for their accommodations and travel arrangements. Candidates must reside at least 100 miles or more from the healthcare facility. The role may require on-call duties and float to other departments as needed.
