Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing (RN) position available in a medical center located in the region. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, adhering to established standards of care and utilizing the nursing process. The position includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and providing patient education in a safe, healing environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required
  • Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Additional Information: This position requires a minimum of 36 hours weekly, with night shifts scheduled for 12 hours. Auto offer available; Epic experience is required. Holiday RTO will not be approved.
