Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU Ambulatory) registered nurse position based at a Care Center in the area. This role involves providing post-operative recovery care in an outpatient setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the critical recovery period. The assignment offers a dynamic environment suitable for professionals seeking a short-term opportunity to expand their bedside experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 9-hour shifts, with variable daytime hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of recent experience in post-anesthesia or ambulatory care, current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and compliance with facility-specific onboarding requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient or PACU nursing, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and additional certifications relevant to ambulatory nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, managing post-operative discomfort, and assisting with patient discharge processes. Effective communication skills and the ability to handle emergency situations are essential. The assignment includes working at a facility specializing in outpatient procedures, emphasizing recovery and patient safety.
