Job Summary:
The Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position is located in a busy perioperative environment within the surgical department. This temporary assignment provides an opportunity to work in a high-volume OR setting with a focus on neuro/spine and orthopedic procedures. The role involves supporting the surgical team in patient care and operating room functions, ensuring smooth procedural workflows, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, current hospital experience of at least 6 months, BLS certification, experience with neuro/spine procedures, orthopedics, and joint replacements, proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system, and Colorado licensure or state-specific certification if applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, prior Meditech experience, and familiarity with neuro and transplant procedures are considered assets.
• Additional Information: Flexibility for day shifts and evening hours as needed is required. On-call shifts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., 1-2 times per week, are part of the schedule. The environment features advanced equipment and technology, with a committed team of experienced staff. This position runs from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.
