Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a general surgery and plastics team. This position involves circulating and scrubbing for general surgery and plastics procedures, with an emphasis on solid skills in both areas. The role requires a professional capable of working both as a circulating nurse and scrub nurse, supporting the surgical team during multiple types of surgeries within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings, starting at 11:00 AM with a shift length of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week. The work schedule includes rotating shifts, with two-week contracts and weekly shift extensions.
- Required Qualifications: Valid IA/COMPACT nursing license, experience with large trauma cases, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system, and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong skills checklist in general surgery and plastics, circulating and scrubbing skills checklists in sub packet, and experience in a high-volume trauma setting.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have the ability to circulate and scrub general surgery and plastics. The position involves working with a team for scheduled start dates of 10/26/2026, with an end date of 01/25/2027.
