Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the community. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, adherence to hospital protocols, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shift times, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery or related field.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
- Five (5) or more years of recent experience within the last two (2) years, with specific experience in labor and delivery preferred.
- At least one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
- High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience is preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Enable Skills-Based Hiring was assessed for this position.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required.
- Need to be available to start on 10/05/2026 and complete the assignment by 01/02/2027.
