Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Operating Room with Open Heart specialty in a healthcare setting. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for pediatric patients undergoing open-heart procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, quality, and patient-centered care across the continuum.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with start times at 0645, 0900, and 1045. 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, three years of CVOR circulating experience, at least one year of recent travel assignment experience within the last three years, proficiency with clinical equipment, machines, and healthcare technology, and the ability to guide and assist unlicensed assistive personnel as defined by applicable nurse practice acts and policies.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two years of pediatric CVOR scrub experience strongly preferred.
- Additional Information: The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 12/26/2026. Candidates should be prepared to start ASAP following acceptance of the assignment.
