Job Summary:
Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry, located in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality care in a Level III Trauma Center with a 167-bed capacity. The position features open scheduling with guaranteed hours and weekend block scheduling, supporting a diverse patient population across all ages. The RN will be responsible for clinical duties on the Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, including IV insertion and adherence to required certifications and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Valid RN license to work as an RN in Tennessee.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry, IV insertion skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar medical/surgical units.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. All clinical staff must meet state-specific checks including Tennessee Abuse Registry. Position is a replacement of permanent staff, with employment requiring compliance with facility dress code (scrubs, any color) and professionalism.
