Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in a healthcare facility located in a hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a medical-surgical unit. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care with an emphasis on safety, monitoring, and evidence-based practices. The shift is days, with a focus on maintaining optimal patient outcomes through skilled clinical interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); relevant nursing degree; licensure in the state of practice; minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred; experience with Epic charting system; prior work on a medical-surgical floor.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including neurological, post-surgical, and general medical conditions. Candidates must adhere to established clinical protocols and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
