Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialty in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care in a busy labor and delivery unit. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week
Start Date: 10/20/2026
End Date: 01/19/2027
Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Required Qualifications: Licenses appropriate for obstetric nursing, certifications listed above, 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or equivalent, proficiency in Epic charting system, patient ratio experience (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother Baby 1:3), valid license in state or territory at the time of submittal
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level II units, previous labor and delivery experience in high-volume settings, knowledge of interdisciplinary support services
