Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for adult patients recovering from conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, amputations, trauma, and other neurological or orthopedic conditions. The role requires dedication to a team-based, transdisciplinary care environment, serving patients primarily aged 18 and older.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 1+ year of nursing experience (no new graduates).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient rehabilitation, medical-surgical setting, or related clinical experience.
• Additional Information: The unit is expanding to a second unit on the same floor; candidates will work with a team managing diverse patient diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, amputation, multi-trauma, hip fractures, spinal cord injuries, debility, and cardiac conditions. Equipment used includes Cerner and Omnicell; Cerner experience is required. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 6:1 for RNs and 7:1 for LPNs.
• First Day Instructions: Report time is 6:45 PM or 6:45 AM; scrub color is Navy Blue.
• Location details: Parking available at the back or side of the building.
• Additional Notes: This is a new and expanded service line position aimed at supporting increased patient care capacity.
