Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a surgical services environment, specializing in general, orthopedic, endovascular, urology, and obstetric procedures. This role involves supporting a full spectrum of elective and emergent surgeries, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. The position requires adherence to strict attendance policies and operational protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license, 2 or more years of OR nursing experience, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and a skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic, general, endovascular, urology, or obstetric surgery.
- Additional Information: A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required for RN specialties. Michigan license verification is mandatory, with LARA and Nursys verification recommended. Physical copies of certifications are only needed if listed above.
- On-Call Requirements: One weeknight of call every week, from 7 pm to 11 pm. One weekend of on-call per month, rotating between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with shifts either from 7 pm to 7 am or from 7 am to 7 pm.
