Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse specializing in intensive care, located in a fast-paced medical intensive care unit setting. The position involves caring for patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The role requires experience with ventilators and dips. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and hold current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; 2+ years of experience in a critical care setting; experience with ventilators and dips; relevant educational background and licensure; located within the appropriate geographical area for staffing needs
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a medical intensive care unit; additional certifications such as TNCC or ENPC; familiarity with complex patient populations and emergency procedures
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a patient population with severe and complex conditions, requiring adaptability and clinical excellence in a high-stakes environment.
