Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a healthcare organization in Bridgeport, CT. This position involves providing care to postpartum and labor patients within the Labor & Delivery department. The role requires experienced nurses to work evening shifts, primarily from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week starting in October 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license; Epic electronic health record experience; Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Postpartum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum and labor & delivery nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Postpartum experience required.

- Additional Information: During this assignment, the nurse will be responsible for providing clinical care in the Labor & Delivery department, supporting patient recovery and postpartum care, adhering to hospital protocols, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Floats are not required for this role.
