Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a floating, 12-hour shift setting. This role involves providing advanced patient care across multiple units within the organization, including surgical, neuro, cardiac, and other adult critical care departments. The position offers a dynamic work environment requiring flexibility to float between various critical care areas, ensuring comprehensive patient management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/27/2026 and ending on 04/20/2027.
• Required Qualifications: CA registered nurse license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, at least 2.5 years of ICU experience preferred, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ICU charting systems, recent float pool, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), or emergency room experience.
• Float: Ability to float to all critical care units, emergency department, and post-anesthesia care unit.
• Additional Information: Must have completed references prior to submission, recent adult medical/surgical critical care experience, variety in critical care environments preferred, and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Skills: Including but not limited to arterial line management, ECMO, ventilated patient care, chest tube management, CVICU experience, neuro ICU, high flow nasal cannula management, management of high acuity patients with multisystem organ dysfunction, infection prevention, and cardiac monitoring.
• Start Date: 10/27/2026.
• End Date: 04/20/2027.
• Other Notes: RTO requests to be disclosed and approved at time of offer. Orientation is scheduled prior to start date. Must provide two references from most recent employer at the time of submittal.
