Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while providing health education and counseling. The position requires adaptability to various patient care areas, including potential float to other specialized units, and may involve being on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 3-12 hour days from 0700-1930; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing. - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the practicing state or a compact license. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. - ACLS (American Heart Association) certification. - NIHSS certification. - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other telemetry, orthopedics surgical trauma, or acuity adaptable units, including patients on insulin drips, sepsis, or similar high-acuity cases.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs health data assessments, health teaching, and counseling.
  • Executes medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and monitors therapy plans.
  • Documents in accordance with healthcare regulations and uses available resources efficiently.
  • May be required to be placed on-call during shifts.
