Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in an acute care setting. This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care during scheduled surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role requires adaptability to a rotating call schedule and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Not specified
- Schedule: Day shift, approximately 36 hours per week, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with a 12-hour shift pattern, 3 days per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; 1 year of clinical experience in operating room settings; applicable licensing for the state of practice
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Call is rotating and assigned based on unit needs. Baseline call is approximately one day every other week as a backup to staffed night shifts and about one weekend call shift per month (24 hours). Additional call assignments may be made depending on the needs of the unit.
