Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Duluth, MN. This position involves providing specialized emergency care within a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center that sees approximately 75 patients per day. The ER Nurse will work in a dynamic environment, managing adult and pediatric trauma cases, with a focus on resilience, efficiency, and compassionate patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour day/night shifts, with hours ranging from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse licensure, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), at least 2+ years of ER experience, with a minimum of one travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: ER experience with adults and pediatrics, trauma center experience.
- Float: Within Emergency Department.
- Additional Information:
- Contract length: 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
- Must have reliable transportation to the facility; radius rule requiring candidates to reside outside a 50-mile radius.
- Work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- During flu season, travelers declining vaccination are required to wear a mask at all times per policy.
- Scrub color: Royal blue; no sweatshirts or hoodies allowed during shifts.
