Description

Job Summary:
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position available in a community-focused healthcare facility located between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor. The role requires experienced CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) nurses willing to also cover the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This position offers a rotating shift schedule with 12-hour night shifts, including weekend rotations, and requires participation in call rotation. The staff will work in a small, independent hospital committed to local patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour nights, including weekend rotation; minimal of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Colorado RN license in good standing; strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications through the American Heart Association; 3 years of RN Critical Care experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CVICU and CCU; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is recommended.
  • Additional Information: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility. Applicants must obtain Colorado Department of Human Services certification within two weeks of applying. Out-of-state agencies should register in the Colorado system, indicating their out-of-state status but with employees in Colorado. Ensure the correct SS# and DOB are entered in Medefis to facilitate onboarding and prevent delays.
  • Submission Requirements: Resume, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, AHA skills sheet including CVICU Skills, and Nursys RN license.
