Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to join the organizations surgical services team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license with a minimum of 15 years of experience in operating room nursing. Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, or ACLS are advantageous. Experience in high-volume surgical settings is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and adhering to hospital protocols and SOPs. Flexibility to work across different surgical specialties may be required.
