Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department Nursing Professional in the healthcare setting. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the obstetric and neonatal services, ensuring safety, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered care. The RN practices as a full team member, demonstrating clinical expertise, professionalism, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License; American Heart Association (AHA) certification for Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Academy of Pediatrics; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via AWHONN; minimum of three years of recent labor and delivery and antepartum experience; proficiency in clinical equipment, computers, and technology; ability to guide unlicensed assistive personnel according to the California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Highly preferred high-risk antepartum experience.
  • Additional Information: The position involves providing patient care across a range of ages from infancy to adult, supporting patient safety, engaging in evidence-based practice, and contributing to operational improvements. The assignment duration is from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026.
