Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse located in Morristown is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac environment. This role involves performing critical assessments, supporting interventional procedures, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive pre and post-procedure care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/16/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS and ACLS certifications; at least 2 years of critical care nursing experience; valid driver's license; ability to work scheduled days and shifts including on call up to 4 times per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specific to Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, advanced certifications related to cardiac care, and familiarity with interventional procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs patient assessments and supports clinical procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in emergency equipment operation, documentation, and patient education.
  • Ensures safety protocols, including universal protocol and patient identifiers, are followed.
  • Communicates effectively with patients and families to explain procedures and post-care instructions.
  • Supports perioperative team by managing patient flow and prioritizing care based on patient needs.
