Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in a clinical setting located in Iowa. This role involves providing high-quality med surg care to diverse patient populations, including telemetry and cardiac monitoring. The position requires strong adaptability and teamwork skills to support a dynamic healthcare environment, with a primary focus on patient safety and effective clinical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid and active Iowa nursing license or multistate license, 24 months of recent Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience, proficiency caring for all patient types including telemetry/cardiac patients, experience with Heparin, and BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience with CHARGE or PRECEPT roles, skills checklist specific to Med Surg / Med Surg Tele discipline.
• Orientation Date: 10/12/2026
• Additional Information: Candidates must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of telemetry and cardiac monitoring. No first-time travelers accepted. Candidates must be at least 50 miles away from the facility based on drivers license. The unit includes various patient types requiring versatile nursing care, with a culture focused on team development, learning, and community service. Traveler will be required to float across all campuses as needed.
